Lindsay Goodloe
Who I Am
Lindsay seeks to harness her a passion for public service and broad range of experience in law and public policy for the benefit of all residents. Lindsay is an attorney who works for Everest as a Senior Claims Specialist. Lindsay previously served as a member of the Watchung Borough Council from 2018 to 2021. Prior to practicing law, Lindsay worked for a State Senator as a constituent relations coordinator.
Since moving to Watchung in 2016, she has volunteered in various capacities including as the Watchung Borough Fire Commissioner, Council liaison to two board – the Watchung Library Advisory Board and Traffic and Beautification Committee – and as a member of the Watchung Council Public Works, Administration and Finance, and Environmental Committees. Among her many accomplishments on the Council, Lindsay has championed saving and advocating for the renovation of the Watchung library, prioritizing public safety, protecting our parks, playgrounds, and open space, and worked tirelessly to ensure that Watchung invests in the efficient delivery of municipal services and recreational programs, while holding down tax increases.
As a working mom with a full-time career, Lindsay still finds the time to actively volunteer in the schools and through the PTO. Lindsay brings a unique and fresh family first perspective having been a resident of Watchung for nearly ten years. Along with her husband, Adam Kraft, they are raising their three children in Watchung, Dylan (11), Sienna (9), and Hope (5).
Why I’m Running
I am excited to bring my passion for public service to the Watchung Borough Council and to give voters a choice in the upcoming Borough Council Election. Democracy thrives when there is a competition for ideas and when we make decisions using diverse perspectives from residents of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and political parties.
